- Working across organizational and geographic boundaries, you will combine technical leadership with customer orientation and commercial awareness to help Digital Solutions grow sustainably and deliver reliable digital solutions for the process industry.
- Which tasks will you perform? You will:
- Define and maintain a multi-year technology strategy for Industrial IoT and AI, translating it into clear roadmaps covering cloud, edge, connected devices, industrial communication, data and AI capabilities.
- Establish target architectures, technology principles and decision guidance that enable products, platforms and deployment models to work together consistently and evolve sustainably.
- Align technology roadmaps, dependencies, investment priorities and lifecycle decisions across products and development locations, making key trade-offs and capacity constraints transparent to decision-makers.
- Lead the responsible adoption of AI and automation across software development and product improvement, establishing appropriate governance, human oversight, quality controls and protection of confidential information and intellectual property.
- Provide direction to technical leaders, architects and engineering teams, while developing technical capabilities through coaching, communities of practice and effective governance.
- Promote reuse, standardization, automation and continuous improvement to increase delivery speed and engineering effectiveness without compromising security, quality or compliance.
