Location Basel Tower, Switzerland. The place of work of this office is in Basel, Switzerland. Eligible applicants and their families will be assisted in moving if needed.

It includes overall responsibility for the establishment, operation and further development of the internal technical administration of the pension fund as well as ensuring a stable, audit-proof and legally compliant handling of all pension processes. This position is mainly designed as an office activity. The cooperation on site enables close, timely collaboration and coordination in the team, so that we can achieve optimal results. You work primarily in the office, but you have the opportunity to work up to 20% of your working time (one day per week) in the home office.

Their tasks

• Management of technical administration (professional and personnel), ensuring the correct handling of all business cases:
• Responsibility for the correct calculation and alignment of benefits, control of complex benefits cases (especially IV and deaths).
• Coordination with external partners (e.g. actuary, reinsurance).
• Close cooperation with: Insured care. Financial accounting / closing, external actuary / experts.
• Ensure consistent data for: annual accounts, technical balance sheet, reporting.
• Professional responsibility for the PC management system, ensuring releases, tests and further developments.
• Implementation of regulatory requirements (BVG, BVV2, instructions of supervision).

What we are looking for

• Several years of experience in occupational provision (especially technical administration).
• training in the field of occupational protection is beneficial.
• Very good knowledge in the BVG environment and performance law.
• Experience with management systems (preferably Xplan).
• Foreign languages English (mandatory), French, Italian (advantageous).
• High accuracy and sense of responsibility.
• Leadership and assertiveness.
