Role overview
As part of the temporary strengthening of our team, we are looking for a future agricultural workshop manager in the Orbe Plains Establishments (EPO) under a one-year fixed-term contract.
As such, you accompany detainees in their day-to-day work by replacing the incumbent workshop managers in the various agricultural workshops.
You thus contribute to the continuity of activities, while ensuring that production, safety and supervision objectives are met.

Application process
- Ensure the welfare of animals and the application of directives on the use of veterinary products and strictly implement the Animal Protection Act;
- Provide supervision, security and supervision for prisoners working in the workshop and ensure that discipline is maintained;
- Develop regular behavioural reports and assessments on the skills and acquisitions of supervised persons and work with stakeholders in the various sectors (social, security, professional, etc.) to ensure adequate care for detained persons.

- Holder of a CFC ideally in an agricultural trade;
- Federal patent of detention officer or undertaking to acquire him in the course of employment;
- Agricultural experience, an asset and/or professional experience of at least 10 years;
- At ease in taking charge of a group, you know how to motivate teams;
- Good mental and physical skills to manage sometimes difficult situations or conflicts while keeping a distance suitable for your function; Ability to manage stress;
- Good teaching skills, strong emotional mastery and open mind; Holder of the driving licence;
- Sense of observation, analysis and synthesis.
- Our terms and conditions of employment require you to be a Swiss citizen or holder of a licence C, free of a deed of default of property (an extract from the Office of Prosecutions must be presented during the process), and your criminal record must be blank.
