In order to drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Head Manufacturing Technical Services (Oligonucleotides) (a) 80-100 %
Their tasks
- Overall responsibility for planning, prioritizing and controlling the CAPEX portfolio of oligonucleotide production for Oligo I and Oligo II including budget control, business cases and investment applications
- Management and coordination of production-driven investment and infrastructure projects, ensuring deadlines, costs, quality, compliance and operational feasibility
- Representation of production interests and user requirements towards Engineering, TechOps, MPT, R&D and internal and external project partners
- Identification, evaluation and introduction of new manufacturing technologies and production concepts and further development of the technology roadmap for oligonucleotide production
- Ensuring the appropriate planning, qualification, commissioning and transfer of new facilities and systems to operational operations
- Responsibility for the integration of new equipment into maintenance management (CMMS) and for the development of suitable maintenance strategies, spare parts concepts and asset master data
- Coordination of internal production resources and implementation activities to minimise production disruptions and promote knowledge transfer and continuous improvement
- Leadership and further development of the organization and employees as well as promotion of performance-oriented, safety-conscious and cross-functional cooperation.
Your profile
- Completed university degree (MSc or PhD) in engineering or natural sciences; alternatively a BSc with corresponding relevant professional experience
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, preferably in a technical management role, and at least 8 years of management experience
- In-depth experience in managing CAPEX and infrastructure projects as well as in budget planning, investment evaluation and strategic project management
- Very good knowledge of preparative organic chemistry, pharmaceutical production facilities and cGMP requirements as well as a strong technical understanding of modern production processes in the oligonucleotide and peptide environment
- Experience in the implementation of new production facilities and technologies as well as in qualification, validation and asset lifecycle processes
- Knowledge of cleanroom technology for non-sterile active ingredient production is an advantage
- Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to develop cross-functional teams
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, a high level of initiative and implementation strength as well as a pronounced awareness of costs, quality and safety
- Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (each at least C1)
- Good IT knowledge, ideally in SAP and Kneat
