The Position

The organization “Site Network Basel/Kaiseraugst”, part of the global group function “Corporate Strategy, Sustainability & Sites”, provides the infrastructure and services for the entire site and develops them continuously and in an innovative way. As Senior Event Experience Manager (m/f/d) you see yourself as a strategic:r designer:in and translator:in for sustainable experiences. You translate complex business demands into innovative, emotional and thoughtful event flows. You will continuously know and scout the latest trends as well as future formats and elements of the perfect event experience. With strong stakeholder intelligence, you combine design, content and experience to achieve the best possible result for Roche.

Your opportunity

Experience Architecture & Business Translation

• You translate business requirements and strategic specifications precisely into sustainable experience concepts and coherent event flows
• You combine design, storytelling and content substance into a seamless overall experience for the participants

Trend scouting and sustainability

• You will continuously scout current and future trends, innovations and elements of a perfect event experience and bring this knowledge to our formats
• End-to-end operational execution & implementation:
• You take over the complete operational planning, organization and successful implementation of events – live on-site (on- & offsite), hybrid and virtual.
• You control project management: You create and monitor detailed schedules, prioritize tasks and manage the event budget independently and reliably.

Stakeholder Intelligence & Partner Control •

• You act as a central:r, strategic:r contact person for all stakeholders and control expectations sovereignly
• With your stakeholder intelligence and your strong negotiating skills, you convince internal and external partners and service providers of the chosen experience elements and ensure that everyone pulls together.

Who you are

• Several years of experience in the conception and design of event experiences (ideally from the environment of creative/event agencies, brand experience or strategic event management).
• You have a deep understanding of event design, customer/guest experience and storytelling
• You convince with excellent organizational talent, stakeholder intelligence and strong negotiating skills – also in complex matrix organizations and vis-à-vis external service providers
• You are empathetic, authentic, positive, motivating, enduring and of course a team player
• Solution orientation comes first with you
• Your way of working shows a high degree of independence, initiative and integrity
• Changes in everyday work you are open and motivated towards
• You feel comfortable in a team that works together openly, transparently, helpfully and humanly (listening / feedback) at all times
• You have a high affinity for systems & tools
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile – further foreign language skills are an advantage
