The Position In the area of Basel Drug Substance Manufacturing Large Molecules, we produce various therapeutic agents with state-of-the-art plants.

In your role as Utilities Manager, you support the Facility Management (FM) & Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) chapter utilities and its customers in handling deviations and changes to provide seamless support for commercial & clinical drug manufacturing in Buildings 91 (ADC/SUT) and 95 (MAB).

The possibility

• Triggering and editing changes and deviations as an owner at the local level (Drug Substance)
• Finding solutions in your own area of responsibility and beyond, as well as cooperation in the cause analysis
• Processing / review of technical GMP documents (regulations)
• User representation in investment and quality projects, as well as advice (including review) for the unit, as well as cooperation in questions of documentation
• Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our plants and compliance with our quality and SHE standards
• Active cooperation with the FM&SHE teams (operators, calibrators, facility & monitoring managers, SHE representatives) and LT, manufacturing units (internal customers), QA partners, other support organizations (pharma engineering, technical compliance) & DS site stakeholders

Who you are

• Completed studies at a university or university of applied sciences, ideally in the field of process and environmental engineering or in a comparable degree program
• At least 5 years of experience in the creation and editing of GMP documents as well as in-depth cGMP understanding
• Technical know-how in the operation, maintenance and qualification of highly automated pharmaceutical plants as well as experience with Clean & Black Utilities
• Knowledge of clean & black utilities related processes (biotech), clean media monitoring, LEAN, data integrity and KPIs of advantage
• Very good German skills in technical writing as well as English skills in word and writing
