Full-time Caretaker Bern — Migros-Pensionskasse

Role overview

As a full-time caretaker at the Migros Pension Fund, you have a responsible task where you can demonstrate your strengths such as independence, organizational talent, and flexibility every day. You are responsible for the caretaking of our properties in the Canton of Bern (Steffisburg, Heimberg, and Hinterkappelen).

Tasks

• First point of contact for our tenants
• Assistance with re-letting rental properties (showing apartments, etc.) as well as apartment handovers and inspections (electronically with iPad)
• Carrying out minor repairs and issuing, coordinating, and monitoring orders to craftsmen
• Maintenance of technical systems (heating/ventilation, etc.)
• Maintenance of the surroundings (flowerbed care, lawn mowing, hedge trimming, etc.)
• Checking and signing invoices for correctness and completeness (electronically)

Requirements

• At least 5 years in caretaking/facility management
• Completed vocational apprenticeship (EFZ): maintenance or technical/manual profession
• Driving license Cat. B
• Experience as a caretaker for residential properties
• Good manners, service-oriented and communicative personality with joy in contact with tenants and craftsmen
• Experience using iPad, IT user skills
• Federal Diploma of Higher Education as a caretaker (advantage)
• German (native)
• English (advantage)
