The possibility As a specialist for art education & collection administration, you form the communicative and administrative hub of our art collection, carefully maintain the archive and actively inspire internal and external target groups for our art projects.

• Collection administration & documentation: systematic maintenance of the archive, digitization of new works as well as exact management of restoration reports, databases and index cards.
• Art education & consulting: Conception and implementation of guided tours (e.g. art over lunch), qualified art advice in the depot selection as well as active support of art and construction dossiers.
• Assistance & specialist support restoration: Active support of the restoration team in the preparation of protocols, filing of maintenance reports and administrative processes.
• Communication & content creation: co-creation of the communication strategy, writing art historical texts and maintaining the content on gSite, intranet and other digital channels.
• Curation & Publication: Editorial assistance in the creation of printed materials as well as in the curation of exhibitions and collection presentations.
• Operational archive & library management: self-responsible handling of daily mail processing, support of the library as well as processing of all arising billing documents.

Who you are

For this versatile hub function, we are looking for a committed, culturally affine personality with a high service orientation, exact working methods and pleasure in conveying art (#art mediation, #collection management, #team spirit).

• Education: Completed university studies (Uni / FH) in Art History or Art Studies.
• Professional & archival knowledge: experience in the collection administration, recording of works of art and handling of database and archive systems
• Familiarity with restoration documentation is beneficial.
• Communication & mediation: proven (several years) experience in art education as well as sound practice in writing art historical texts and in the conception and implementation of guided tours for different target groups.
• IT & system knowledge: Experienced handling of the common MS Office applications and Google Workspace as well as affinity to digital databases.
• Personality: Structured, precise and independent working method, pronounced organizational talent, communication strength and a courteous appearance.
• Languages: Negotiable German and English in word and writing, further language skills of advantage.
