The Basel Region Addiction Help Center is one of the largest private sponsors in the Basel area. Our offerings include prevention, counseling, addiction treatment and harm reduction in addiction support. At the ESTA – Clinic for Addiction Treatment in Reinach, people aged 16 and over with drug addiction are treated in a withdrawal and therapy setting. As part of our realignment, we will be focusing our treatment setting on adolescents and young adults in the coming months and changing it accordingly. To complement our team, we are looking for Coach (m/f/d) 80-100% main area of ​​responsibility immediately or by appointment

• Accompanying patients in a 24/7 setting in 3-shift operation
• Motivating and activating patients in their daily routine and during activities
• Implementation of the weekly activity plan, assistance with planning

Treatment atmosphere We expect

• Qualification as a care specialist, movement and health specialist,

Social educator, sociocultural animator or similar at EFZ, HF or FH level

• Professional experience in a psychiatric environment and/or working with adolescents and

beneficial for young adults

• Active and sporty personality, knowledge of accompanying groups
• Good observation skills, motivating communication
• Possibly personal experience with mental illness and/or addiction for at least 2 years

Abstinent or stable mental health and active in a self-help group

• High social skills, open and communicative personality and ability

To provide motivating support to work colleagues and patients

• Willingness to work early, late, night and weekend shifts
• Good computer user skills
