Are you enthusiastic about technology and would like to actively shape innovative products? As a designer (m/f/d), you will develop intelligent solutions for our electrical connectors and accompany projects from idea to market launch. Exciting technical challenges await you, an international environment and the opportunity to contribute and implement your own ideas.
- Development of new and further development of existing electrical connectors
- Implementation of customer requirements and specifications into innovative and economical product solutions
- Independent planning and processing of development projects as well as coordination of technical work packages
- Identification of technical challenges and development of sustainable solutions in close cooperation with internal interfaces
- Participation in risk analysis, FMEAs, technical investigations and the verification and validation of product developments
- Technical advice to customers, product management and internal specialist areas as well as preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and assembly instructions
- Completed technical training with further education or studies in mechanical engineering, design or equivalent specialisation
- Several years of experience in design and product development, ideally in the industrial environment
- Safe handling of 3D CAD systems, preferably Autodesk Inventor
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to independently analyze technical challenges and develop practical solutions
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working method
- Strength of communication and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary and international teams
- Very good German and good English skills in word and writing
- Experience with simulation and calculation tools (e.g. ANSYS) is an advantage
