Join our Database as a Service (DBaaS) team and help build, operate, and improve a core platform used across Swiss Re.

We are looking for a hands-on Database Engineer who enjoys working with enterprise database platforms and is interested in automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

  • Support and improve enterprise Oracle and PostgreSQL database platforms
  • Perform database administration, troubleshooting, and operational activities
  • Contribute to platform reliability, availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities
  • Investigate and resolve performance issues across database environments
  • Participate in production support and incident resolution activities
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures Automation & Platform Improvement
