The Position

The Circle “SHE Analytics & Environmental Excellence” at the Basel/Kaiseraugst locations is responsible for consistently placing people, safety and the environment at the centre of everyday work.

In our field of occupational hygiene and labor hygiene laboratory, we are looking for a competent leader.

Your opportunity

In this role, you can expect challenging and varied tasks where you can make a real impact :

• Designing processes: You take over the strategic and operational development of the work hygiene processes as well as our modern laboratory.
• Inspire teams: You lead and promote a competent team of 3 specialists: internal hygiene and 6 dedicated laboratory employees.
• Competently advise: You are an esteemed expert to assist our companies in projects, product and technology transfers.
• Minimize risks: They proactively identify and assess health risks and accompany occupational hygiene measurement campaigns and risk analyses.
• Sharing knowledge: You will design training courses and lectures and continuously expand your internal expertise.

Who you are

They are characterized by a strong security awareness, an advisory mentality and a structured, solution-oriented working method.

You will bring the following qualifications

• Professional background: Completed studies in chemistry (Master / PhD) or a comparable scientific qualification.
• Additional qualification: Training as a specialist:in occupational hygiene according to statutory regulation.
• Professional experience: Several years of practice in occupational hygiene (ideally in the pharmaceutical environment) as well as in-depth knowledge in HAS, substance classification, containment and LIMS.
• Leadership Competence: Proven experience in leading and developing teams in a scientific or analytical environment.
• Strength of communication: Negotiation-proof knowledge of German and English and strong stakeholder management.
