Role overview

Tasks

• You analyze the global procurement markets for technical components, machines and services and develop sustainable product group and supplier strategies
• You negotiate framework contracts, prices, service level agreements (SLAs) and conditions with national and international technical partners in coordination with your superiors or specialist departments
• You evaluate and audit existing suppliers from the technical environment and build new, strategic partnerships
• You identify cost reduction potential (TCO approach for machines and systems) and Secure our technical supply chains through proactive risk management
• Based on ERP data (e.g.

for spare parts), you issue orders on time and monitor them so that the systems never stand still

• You have delivery dates under control, initiate dunning procedures in the event of delays and confidently clarify quantity or price deviations
• You are in close contact with the technical departments such as: maintenance and goods receipt in order to guarantee optimal material availability
• You keep item and supplier master data clean in the ERP system and continuously optimize them
• Requirements
• Successfully completed commercial training with further training in purchasing
• Several years of well-founded professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing, ideally in the area of technology
• Negotiation skills, assertiveness as well as a strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Confident use of common ERP systems (e.g.

SAP, MS Dynamics, Infor) and MS Office (esp.

Excel)

• Very good written and spoken German and business English skills for communication with international partners
