<b>Bed management functions as a central point for all stationary patient receptions and internal relocations within the Claraspital and the USB, with the exception of patient receptions in highly installed or specialized beds (e.g. INT, IMC, SU, NCW, isolation station). It acts as a contact point for all departments of the USB, for all bed stations of the Claraspital as well as for external assignees. The task of bed management is to ensure and implement patient- and employee-oriented and economical control of the internal patient flow, taking into account optimal bed utilization and implementing the necessary interface management. Bed management serves a stable and optimized capacity utilization. </b>

Tasks

• Planning, coodination and management of elective and emergency entries as well as internal relocations
• Planning and coordination of entries on the day of operation as well as of outpatient operations in cooperation with the surgical management and the surgical day clinic
• Participation in reports or Management of laying reports
• Close cooperation with internal and external referees as well as the treatment teams
• Central interface or contact person to doctors, nurses, case management, emergency and surgery in relation to bed occupancy
• Central contact for external customers in relation to bed occupancy
• Planning of inpatient chemotherapies at the Claraspital site
• Coordination and contact person for the surgical planning ambulatory and stationary in close coordination with the surgical management
• Patient contact for appointment confirmation for outpatient and inpatient operations
• Participation in projects within the area of responsibility
• Timely and correct maintenance of data in our KIS systems
• Recording of key occupancy figures as well as information and reporting at management positions of regular reports

Requirements

• Training as a qualified nurse, HF / FH
• Several years of professional experience in an acute hospital, professional experience in bed management beneficial
• High affinity for organizational and coordinating activities
• Rapid comprehension, efficient, goal-oriented and solution-oriented working method
• High service orientation, respectful manners and a high level of social competence
• Sovereignty and flexibility even in challenging situations
• A strong sense of quality and responsibility
• Good knowledge of German in words and writing, French / Italian language skills are advantageous
• Very good IT user knowledge in MS-Office programs and ideally in KIS systems
