Role overview
The bed management functions as a central point for all stationary patient recordings and internal layings within the Claraspital and the USB, with the exception of patient recordings in high-installed or specialized beds (Bsp.: INT, IMC, SU, NCW, isolation station).
It acts as a contact person for all departments of the USB, for all beds of the Claraspital and for external instructors.
The task of bed management is to ensure and implement a patient-oriented and co-worker-oriented and economical control of the internal patient flow taking into account an optimal bed utilization while performing the interface management required for this purpose.

- Planning, coodination and control of eective and emergency entrances as well as internal laying
- Planning and coordination of entrances on the operating day as well as outpatient operations in cooperation with OP management and surgical day clinic
Main responsibilities

- Central interface or contact person for doctors, nurses, case management, emergency and surgery in relation to bed occupancy
- Central contact for external customers in terms of bed occupancy
- Planning of stationary chemotherapy at the Claraspital site
- Coordination and response for OP planning outpatient and stationary in close coordination with OP management

- Multiannual professional experience in an acute hospital, professional experience in bed management
- High affinity for organisational and coordination activities
- Rare understanding, efficient, targeted and solution-oriented operation
- High service orientation, appreciative ways of dealing and high social competence
- Sovereignty and flexibility in challenging situations Excellent quality and responsibility
- Good knowledge of German in word and writing, French / Italian language skills are advantageous
