Main responsibilities
- You will:
- Structure and specify requirements: Working with specialists, operators and project management on software and processes for machines (in the form of state models, interface definitions, command specifications, error / selection handling, sequence and process sequences, limit values definitions and test management)
- Perform on-site reviews, debugging and selective adaptations or prototype support of machine software with support over the complete life cycle of products and machines
- Develop, keep consistent machine integration, technical review and check supplier implementations for standard compliance including mapping and integration
- professional management of external machine manufacturers: Alignments, reviews, and QMS build and demand
- plan, perform and document the FAT and integration tests, and control iterative correction loops with suppliers
- ensure end-to-end stability and OT security-Guardrails (certificates, 1934, access protection, quality gate, documentation) Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in automation technology, system technology, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Have experience in PLC development according to IEC 6113-3 and understand automation, PLC logic and machine sequences, states and fault images very well
- Have practical experience in PLC concept development and PLC system architecture, ideally with state automation, operating modes, and structured troubleshooting
