Our daily work is characterized by high quality standards, lived humanity and respect for old age. With a patient: average age of 85 years, we combine medical expertise with empathetic closeness. The Adullam Hospital is a SIWF-certified training centre for geriatrics (category A) and general internal medicine (category C) and a member of the Basel Private Hospitals Association.

• Holistic care of our geriatric patients: inside in the areas:
• acute treatment of internal diseases
• geriatric assessment and rehabilitation
• long-term and palliative medicine
• Outpatient medical care in our nursing centers (option FMH recognition)
• Participation in diagnostics, therapy planning and implementation, including geriatric assessments
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with care, therapy, social work, nutrition and psychology – active in quality circles.
• Participation in the mentoring program including collegial case coaching, simulation training and interdisciplinary training. Your profile
• Completed medical studies with an interest in geriatrics, palliative medicine and internal medicine
• MEBEKO recognition existing or already applied for
• Beginners: inside: structured entry into the “1×1” of internal medicine with close accompaniment by experienced senior physician: inside. This creates a good prerequisite for your later activity in other hospitals or gives a useful “backpack” in the case of another specialization.
• Experienced assistant doctor: inside: independent care of complex cases with high medical, psychosocial and ethical relevance
• Joy of interdisciplinary cooperation
• High empathy, communication strength and joy in a patient-centered, holistic approach
• Good knowledge of German
