Clinic Rheumatology & Pain Medicine is the largest rheumatology clinic in northwestern Switzerland. From now on or by agreement we are looking for an assistant doctor. We are a continuing education clinic for rheumatology (cat B two years), pain medicine (SSIPM, 1 year), and internal medicine (cat D, 6 months). There is a close interdisciplinary cooperation with the university orthopaedics in-house, spinal surgery and the internal clinics for rehabilitation, internal medicine and neurology. The Clinic of Rheumatology and Pain Medicine actively participates in doctor-patient (AP) teaching at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Basel.

Their tasks

• Admission and care of inpatients of the clinic
• Assistance and infiltration in sono- and C-arc-controlled musculoskeletal interventions
• Treatment of outpatients in the ambulatory Rheumatism Pain (depending on the level of training and experience in the inpatient area)
• Day, night, weekend and emergency services
• Participation in the further education and training program of the clinic

They bring with them

• Completed studies
• At least 2 years of experience at a Swiss clinic (internal medicine and/or rheumatology)
• Verified and recognized diploma by MEBEKO
• Knowledge of German at least level C1 (Goethe Institute)
• Enthusiasm and motivation for the profession and the joy of learning
• Teamwork, flexibility and agility
