Full description

Responsible as a strategic buyer You defined indirect commodity groups in the DACH region. You develop commodity group strategies, manage tenders and negotiations and ensure transparency in markets, costs, suppliers and contracts. Together with the Indirect Procurement Manager and the departments, you drive cost optimization, supplier performance and sustainable value creation. Tasks you will like

• Development and further development of product group strategies for equipment, catering equipment and advertising materials
• Analysis of procurement markets, suppliers, costs, risks and innovation potential
• Identification and implementation of standardization, bundling and savings potential as well as optimization of procurement processes
• Planning and implementation of tenders and RFQ/RFP processes including bid, cost and TCO analyses
• Preparation and conduct of negotiations on prices, terms, service levels and contract terms
• Creating transparent award recommendations and sound decision-making basis Advising the specialist areas and converting their requirements into suitable procurement and supplier strategies
• Completed studies or comparable commercial training with a focus on purchasing or supply chain management
• At least three years of experience in strategic purchasing, category management or sourcing
• Experience with indirect product groups and product group strategies, tendering and procurement processes
• Analytical strength and safe handling of cost, market and supplier data
• Negotiation skills, entrepreneurial thinking and strong stakeholder management
• Good digital procurement, MS office and especially Excel skills
• Experience in an international retail, food service or multi-site environment
• Very good knowledge of German, English and French as well as willingness to travel in the DACH region
