Role overview
To strengthen our Corporate Finance Team, we are looking for a strategically-minded leader. In this central key position, you will steer the global tax affairs of our publicly traded group and simultaneously act as a competent sparring partner for Corporate Controlling as well as the entire global finance and management team.
- Tax Strategy & Tax Governance: Definition, further development and implementation of global tax strategy as well as ensuring a company-wide tax governance framework
- Tax Compliance & Reporting: Responsibility for worldwide tax compliance, tax calculations in financial statements (Cognos) as well as monitoring global tax developments – including OECD initiatives (Pillar 2, QDMTT, IIR, GIR, CbCR) and ESG requirements
- Transfer Pricing: Maintenance and further development of the worldwide transfer pricing system, ensuring intercompany agreements, compliance with documentation requirements (Master/Local File) as well as monitoring rebates and markups in SAP
- Transactions: Management of tax due diligence in M&A projects (asset purchases/disposals) as well as review of VAT impacts on changes to global trade flows
- Tax Audits: Management of tax audits worldwide, obtaining withholding tax relief and close collaboration with Internal Audit
- Direct & Indirect Taxes CH: Planning, preparation and filing of tax returns for H+S AG (including Top-up-Tax), responsibility for Swiss VAT as well as tax calculations for the statutory annual financial statements
- Completed university degree in Business Administration or Law with a focus on tax law; additional qualification as a certified tax expert (or equivalent) is required
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in the tax field, ideally gained in an international industrial environment and/or Big4
- Thorough knowledge of national and international tax law as well as corporate law; secure handling of modern systems (SAP, Cognos advantageous)
- Excellent German and English language skills are mandatory
