Role overview

  • Active cooperation in production – independent assembly of cables and components (including cutting to length, stripping, soft soldering and connector assembly)
  • Implementation of tests, final inspections and QA approvals according to specifications as well as correct SAP feedback
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and process specifications in daily production operations
  • Assistance in operational planning, control and monitoring of production orders from material availability to delivery
  • Release, prioritisation and coordination of production orders and ensuring production supply
  • Support of team management in daily shop floor management and cooperation as team spokesperson
  • First-level support for SAP and production-related systems as well as support for employees in system engineering issues
  • Analysis and coordination of process and system problems as well as forwarding to key users
  • Identification and implementation of optimization potential as well as active participation in continuous improvement processes (Lean, KVP, 5S)
  • Participation in the further development of processes, plants and workflows
  • Basic technical training in production environment (e.g. mechanics, electronics or equivalent)
  • Several years of experience in production or Assembly, ideally in the field of cable production
  • Experience in the shop floor environment or in a coordinating role
  • Good knowledge in assembly processes, reading drawings and preferably in soft soldering
  • High independence, reliability and an exact and structured working method
  • Pronounced communication capability and secure, clear and addressable appearance
  • High social competence and enjoyment of working with different interfaces
  • Networked thinking skills and ability to act across sectors
  • affinity for digital processes and good understanding of IT and systems; SAP user knowledge is a must
  • Very good German skills in word and writing, English skills are advantageous
