Your tasks

• You independently code the diagnoses and treatments of our inpatient cases according to the applicable Swiss coding guidelines and SwissDRG.
• You review medical documentation, identify relevant contexts and ensure complete, correct and traceable coding.
• You work closely with the medical profession, nursing and other specialist areas and support them with questions about medical documentation and coding.
• You check the coding quality and bring your experience and ideas to continuously improve our operations.
• With your work, you make an important contribution to the quality of our medical performance data and appropriate hospital financing.

Your profile

• You have several years of professional experience in medical coding according to SwissDRG, ideally with a Swiss Federal Professional Card as a medical encoder.
• You have basic medical training, for example in nursing, as a doctor or in a comparable health profession.
• You have a good understanding of medical contexts and can understand complex disease courses based on the documentation.
• You work independently, carefully and in a structured manner and attach importance to high coding quality.
• You are an open, reliable and team-oriented personality who appreciates the professional exchange.
