The Migration Office operates daily in the exciting political environment of all migration issues. We are responsible for the permits under foreigners law, enforce the Swiss alien and asylum law, issue the biometric Swiss passports and foreigner ID cards and provide care and integration in our asylum centres.

What to expect

• You will lead the Department of Initial Integration and Education in terms of expertise and personnel and develop it further together with your team
• You coordinate and accompany the integration and educational offers for adults and children in the center
• You will work on the management team of the center and actively participate in the further development of concepts, processes and offers
• You will maintain cooperation with authorities, educational partners, emergency services and other internal and external stakeholders
• You take on additional operational tasks in adult education or in the area of initial integration and stay close to practice

What distinguishes you

• You have completed vocational or tertiary training in the social, educational or agogic area as well as several years of management experience
• You have experience in one or more of the areas of migration, education, integration or care
• You have a positive human image, lead strength-oriented and at eye level and understand how to win and develop people with your energy and a clear attitude
• You work in a structured way, take on responsibility and keep an overview even in demanding situations
• Good IT user knowledge as well as foreign language skills round off your profile
