Tasks
- Analyze technical customer requirements and translate them into suitable and economically viable solutions together with sales
- Developing technical concepts and solution designs around data center and IT infrastructures
- Support Specialized Sales and Key Account Manager in technical issues and customer projects
- accompany technical customer meetings, workshops, webinars and presentations and communicate complex topics in an understandable way
- Participate in the preparation and development of technical offers
- Coordinate technical investigations with manufacturers and technology partners
- Evaluate new technologies and assess their potential applications for our customers and our portfolio
- Identify trends and innovations in the data center and infrastructure environment at an early stage and share your knowledge with the relevant teams
- Continuously expand your technical know-how through further training and certification
Requirements
- Practical professional experience in ICT, data center or infrastructure environment
- Technical understanding and pleasure in translating customer requirements into concrete solutions
- Experience in technical customer service, in presales or in a comparable interface function is an advantage
- Experience as a system engineer or in a comparable technical function is a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturers, technologies and solutions in the data center environment as well as experience in the distribution business are advantageous
- Secure and professional appearance in exchange with customers, manufacturers and internal contacts
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working method
- Very good knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English for exchange in a professional environment
- basic technical training or equivalent qualification
- Further education and manufacturer certification are advantageous
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and the motivation to continuously develop your expertise
- Readiness for occasional business trips of up to 10%.
