As Head of the West Region, you will lead the West Region in terms of personnel, expertise and finances with three bases and around 45 police officers and ensure the effectiveness and quality of operations.
You plan and coordinate actions and operations in the area of responsibility and lead the forces on major events, including regular leadership on-call duty.
You create concepts, operational orders and documents in a structured manner and carry out situation assessments as well as manage deployment arrangements safely and in an appropriate manner.
As a member of the management team, you advise the command management on police tactical and strategic questions and help shape the further development of the transport police.
With open and constructive cooperation, you will strengthen relationships with SBB departments, police corps, offices and authorities and represent the interests of the transport police.

You have strong planning and organizational skills and you have police tactical knowledge as well as experience as an operations manager for large and special events.
In this leadership position, strong leadership skills such as results-oriented leadership or development-oriented leadership are of great importance.
You are networked in the police world and know security police issues and their developments, supplemented by further training in the police environment, ideally with CAS FIP (leadership in police operations), or the willingness to complete this training.
You show willingness for on-call duty, night work and weekend work and have languages at the following level: German at least C1, French at least B1, English at least B1.
