As a Strategic Account Technology Strategist, you will lead the technology strategy for one of Microsoft’s largest global insurance customers.
Partnering with top-level business and technology executives, you will align business priorities with Microsoft’s AI, Copilot, Security, Cloud, and Data solutions to drive innovation, growth, and digital transformation.As a core member of the Account Team Unit, you will work across Microsoft, partners, and customer stakeholders to shape strategy, influence opportunities, and deliver business outcomes.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND several years of technical consulting, consultative selling, business consulting, or related technology experience
Main responsibilities
- Partner with top-level executives and C-level stakeholders to define and execute technology strategies that drive business outcomes.
- Align customer priorities with Microsoft’s AI, Security, Cloud, Data, and Copilot solutions.
- Identify opportunities to accelerate innovation, transformation, efficiency, and growth.
- Lead strategic account planning, forecasting, and execution across cross-functional teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing industry and technology thought leadership to customer and Microsoft stakeholders.
Key requirements
- Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND several years of technical consulting, consultative selling, business consulting, or related technology experience
- OR equivalent experience?
- Understanding of the insurance industry, including business models, market dynamics, and transformation challenges. Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record driving digital transformation and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience within the insurance or broader financial services industry.
- German language skills are preferred to support effective collaboration with local customers and stakeholders. Strategic Account Technology IC5
- The typical base pay range for this role across Switzerland is CHF 154,000.00
- CHF 300,200.00 per year.
