  • Pioneer innovative concepts for ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and interference compliance in high-power converters
  • Develop EMC models to predict and analyze electromagnetic compatibility and optimize electromagnetic design of circuits and systems

Key requirements

  • PhD in electrical engineering, physics or related discipline with specialization in power electronics or electromagnetics
  • Proven research excellence demonstrated through high-impact publications and patents Deep technical expertise in:
  • EMC/EMI theory and solid theoretical background in electromagnetic modelling and field simulations
  • Power electronic converter topologies, filters, magnetics, and semiconductor switching devices
  • Simulation tools such as CST, COMSOL, ANSYS, SPICE circuit simulator (LTSpice, SIMetrix), Simulink
  • Hands-on laboratory skills in HF-electromagnetic measurements (conducted and/or radiated emissions), with a proactive, self-driven approach to designing, building, and testing EMC/EMI-compliant power converters.
  • Versatile skill set with the ability to bridge theory and practice across multiple technical domains.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial research environment and deliver results
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
