The Institute of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine provides more than 30,000 services annually in outpatient and inpatient anesthesiology, in internal and extraclinical emergency medicine as well as in acute and chronic pain medicine.
As part of the highly specialized medicine at the University Hospital Zurich, the Institute of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine also has performance contracts for the transplantation surgery of all solid organs and the care of all cardiac and vascular surgical procedures as well as for the treatment of severely injured and multiple injured persons. >The University Hospital Zurich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland.
