Tasks

• Medical activity in the interdisciplinary palliative care consultation service at the Solothurn Citizens' Hospital
• Shared responsibility for the treatment, support and symptom control of inpatients and outpatients with complex palliative needs
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration with the teams in internal medicine, oncology, surgery, nursing, pastoral care and other specialist areas
• Supervision and further training of junior doctors and staff in care and therapy
• Active Participation in the further development of the palliative offer at the Solothurn location
• Participation in the in-house service system of the Clinic for General Internal Medicine Profile
• Specialist title in general internal medicine (FMH) or shortly before obtaining it (for a foreign diploma with MEBEKO recognition)
• Specialization title in palliative care (SGAIM/SGP) or equivalent qualification
• Clinical experience in the palliative setting and enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
• High degree of empathy, strong communication skills and resilience
• Interest in further training and quality assurance
