As Risk Officer Management Company at J.

- Maintain and further develop JSSIF’s Internal Control System; act as a second-line control function ensuring first-line controls are performed, evidenced and remediated
- Higher education in Finance, Business or a related field
- 4-7 years of practical experience in the field of risk management, internal control or operational risk within a Swiss or Luxembourg management company, fund administration, audit or asset management
Main responsibilities
- Your Responsibilities
- Maintain and further develop JSSIF’s Internal Control System; act as a second-line control function ensuring first-line controls are performed, evidenced and remediated
- Manage operational risk end-to-end: incident detection and follow-up, operational KRI monitoring, key-control-matrix oversight, reporting and mitigation
- Run the annual Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) in line with JSS Group Risk requirements
- Produce structured ManCo risk reporting to the Executive Committee, Risk Committee and Board, and monthly KRI reporting to Group Risk Management
- Maintain Business Continuity Management and the Business Continuity Plan, including trainings and periodic checks
- Act as a deputy for the Fund Risk Oversight function and co-own PRIIP KID coordination and maintenance
Key requirements
- Higher education in Finance, Business or a related field
- 4-7 years of practical experience in the field of risk management, internal control or operational risk within a Swiss or Luxembourg management company, fund administration, audit or asset management
- Working knowledge of the relevant Swiss regulatory environment (FINMA, CISA/CollIA, FinSA/FinIA, AMAS self-regulation); awareness of UCITS/AIFMD and CSSF requirements is an advantage given the Group’s Luxembourg footprint Required
- Independent, structured and hands-on, comfortable challenging first-line assumptions.
- Experience in design and automate controls, KRI calculations and reporting, improving data quality, traceability and process efficiency
- Strong work ethics, integrity, high level of accountability and willingness to take responsibility Fluency in English, German is an advantage Your Benefits
