Tasks
- You analyze the global procurement markets for technical components, machines and services and develop sustainable commodity group and supplier strategies
- You negotiate framework contracts, prices, service-level agreements (SLAs) and conditions with national and international technology partners in coordination with your supervisors or specialist centres
- You evaluate and audit existing suppliers from the technical environment and build new, strategic partnerships
- You identify cost-cutting potentials (TCO approach to machines and plants) and secure our technical supply chains through proactive risk management
- You trigger orders on time and monitor them so that the plants never stand still
- You have delivery dates under control, initiate payment procedures in the event of delay and clarify quantity or price deviations
- You are in close contact with the specialist centres of technology such as maintenance and incoming goods to guarantee optimal material availability
- You keep article and supplier master data in the ERP system clean and optimize them on an ongoing basis
- Successfully completed commercial training with further training in purchasing
