Role overview

The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is an office of the Department of Economics and Social Affairs.

It combines the four departments of agricultural measures, structural improvements, surveying and the GIS competence center under one roof.

Main responsibilities

  • Supervision of civil engineering projects and property consolidations (technical, administrative and financial) Advice to sponsors and planning offices
  • Examination and processing of project ideas and requests for contributions Participation in cantonal consultations
  • Participation in national and cantonal working groups to support the department management
  • Participation in the implementation of the ALG's digitalization strategy Requirements
  • University or technical college degree as an engineer in geomatics, construction, environment, agronomy or comparable Specialization
  • Strong communicator, independent, solution-oriented and decision-maker Structured and conceptual way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and enjoy taking on new tasks
  • Very good knowledge of German; other cantonal languages ​​are an advantage
