Who you are

We are looking for employees for the Second Chance Market area who are passionate about sales and sustainability and aim to ensure that our products that have been slightly damaged or used in an exhibition are given a second chance.

• You have experience in sales or customer service and value advising customers during their purchase.
• You work well under time pressure, have strong business acumen and are results-oriented.
• You actively contribute to the sustainability of the furniture store by identifying the best solutions for reusing returned or displayed furniture.
• You are a strong communicator, independent personality who also enjoys working in a team.
• You are goal-oriented and have a lot of energy and motivation as well as a strong cost awareness.
• You are open to changes and have a high degree of flexibility.
• You speak German fluently and can also communicate well in English.

You are responsible for

• Actively approach our customers to determine their needs and advise them on the best solutions.
• Collaborate with customer service regarding returns to determine the best way to reuse returned products or ensure their sustainable use.
• Assembling display furniture and presenting products with a strong commercial expression to promote sales.
• Minimize costs resulting from internal use of IKEA products and damage.
• Work closely with other departments in the store to optimize sales.
• Creating an exceptional IKEA shopping experience and ensuring customer satisfaction.
