The Position With its 1400 employees, the Kaiseraugst Production Center (PTM) ensures uninterrupted patient care with high-quality medicines. PTM stands for the highest standards of pharmaceutical manufacturing, Roche’s largest, most innovative packaging centre and the supply of more than 120 countries.

The possibility

We have a team leader to fill (m/f/d) position in the field of asset ocular packaging.

As Team Leader (m/f/d), you are responsible for ensuring timely production in compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) specifications and processes. You continuously demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and compliance and act as a role model for colleagues (m/f/d) and team members. You recognize capacity bottlenecks or overhangs and initiate appropriate measures. In addition, you will work closely with all key areas to achieve ambitious turnaround time, quality, commitment and cost goals.

As Team Leader (m/f/d), you are responsible for ensuring and ensuring an open and collaborative environment that promotes the personal responsibility of the individual employees (production experts (m/f/d) and line mechanic (m/f/d) within the area of responsibility).

• Ensure personnel planning with regard to the following aspects: the deployment of employees by level of training, shift, personnel and holiday planning
• Ensuring adequate education and training
• Objective definitions with employees and evaluation of goal achievement
• Support in the personal/professional development of employees
• Ensure that the products are manufactured and stored according to the appropriate instructions in order to maintain the required quality
• Support and cooperation as SME in inspections, audits and visits
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, as well as conscious promotion of operational safety (e.g. LOTO, SHE, Roche int). PT behaviours
• Processes and processes within the scope of efficiency/technology improvement measures continuously investigate and further develop optimization potential

• Completed pharmaceutical, scientific or technical studies or vocational training combined with many years of professional experience
• Good knowledge of the company and its processes as well as very good organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of safety, quality systems and quality assurance concepts, including the application of current Good Manufacturing Practices
• You bring your knowledge and enthusiasm for digital tools and automated systems to promote continuous improvement and optimization
• Ability to implement, coach and apply lean and agile ways of working
• Very good communication skills in word and writing in German, good English skills are a plus

It is important to know that the position of team leader (m/f/d) includes shift work and can change depending on the operational situation. High flexibility and readiness to work in shift operation are therefore required.
