Role overview

Responsibilities

• Leadership of optimization projects, particularly in tool optimization, with responsibility for deadlines, costs, and quality
• Technical assistance and development of suppliers in the field of tools
• Design of work tools
• Technical support to production for tool-related issues
• Purchasing of tools in production (tool management)
• Implementation and evaluation of new tool and production technologies, including the creation of engineering studies and feasibility analyses
• Responsible for creating NC and CNC programs for the milling sector
• Point of reference for employees and the core team for technical questions
• Requirements
• Technical vocational training (Feinmechaniker or Werkzeugmacher / Polymechaniker) with certification
• 2-5 years of professional experience in the turning sector; experience in the medical-healthcare sector is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of the German and English languages, both spoken and written (at least B2 level)
• Good command of Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of SAP
• Experience in the field of CAD, preferably with Inventor Professional
• Experience in the field of CAM, preferably with Mastercam and Hypermill
