Grid electricians at Arnold AG build and maintain plants for the transport of electrical energy. You can expect a varied day of work full of challenges in well-established teams who will actively support you during your three-year training with us.

Your tasks

As a specialist: for all work on the power grid, you are responsible for the construction and maintenance of cable and overhead lines, switch and transformer stations, distribution cabins, house connection boxes and public lighting. Whether in the city or in the countryside, you are outdoors every day and at any time of the year. In order to minimize risks in your challenging job, you learn how to use tools and machines safely, whether in the course or in the company. Whether in the cable trench or on the overhead line masts: As a grid electrician, you work exclusively in the group. Good cooperation and mutual trust are a prerequisite here. Do you already have an electrotechnical education? With us you can also complete a second apprenticeship as a grid electrician: in EFZ.
