The Position Quality Control (QC) at the Basel and Kaiseraugst sites is the largest QC organization in the global Roche network. We ensure that all analytical data – from chemical-physical analysis to bioassays to microbiology – is generated, processed and documented correctly, completely and in accordance with GxP. As part of the Data Integrity (DI) team, you work at the interface between laboratory, QC processes and quality assurance. You will gain deep insights into modern laboratory and IT systems (e.g. LIMS, Empower, Chromeleon, TrackWise) and help us ensure that our data is compliant with ALCOA+ principles at all times.

The possibility

• Independent cooperation in data integrity activities, audit trail reviews, system checks and risk analyses
• Preparation and revision of DI-relevant documents such as SOPs and checklists
• Support for QC processes, document review, approvals, changes, deviations and CAPAs
• Analysis and optimization of existing QC workflows
• Independent processing of smaller projects in data integrity, process optimization or sample management
• Participation in workshops, huddles and meetings, preparation of presentations, reports and evaluations
• Intensification of knowledge on GMP/GxP, ALCOA+ principles, laboratory and data transparency as well as practice in dealing with QC-IT systems

Who you are

• You are currently enrolled or have completed your studies within the last 12 months - preferably in a Master's programme in natural sciences. Pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology or related disciplines.
• Interested in quality management, data integrity and laboratory processes.
• Analytical, careful and GMP-compliant procedure.
• Reliable, willing to learn and self-initiative.
• Team-oriented with clear and strong communication with different stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with Google Workspace is beneficial.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Motivation to get involved in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.

Additional information

Your ideal start date is early December 2026. You should bring 12 months for the internship. Non-EU/EFTA citizens (m/f/n) must attach to the application documents a confirmation from the university that a mandatory internship is part of the training for the entire duration of the employment. Writing a thesis is not possible in this internship.
