Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the budget and target achievement of your category – in particular revenue, contribution margin, advertising grants and bonuses
- Development and implementation of the strategic priorities of the category based on the corporate strategy
- Analysis of target achievement and derivation and implementation of appropriate measures in the event of deviations
- Responsibility for the assortment and communication strategy based on market, competition and trend analyses
- Definition, implementation and control of the pricing strategy across all sales channels
- Development of procurement strategy taking into account warehouse ceilings and target ranges
- Establishment and maintenance of a sustainable manufacturer and supplier management
- Responsibility for a customer-oriented product group structure in the webshop
- Further development and optimization of internal processes as well as cooperation with relevant platforms and interfaces
- Personnel leadership, motivation and continuous development of your team
Requirements
- Several years of leadership experience and the ability to motivate, develop and jointly achieve ambitious goals
- Completed higher business or equivalent training, e.g. HF; further leadership training is advantageous
- 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in e-commerce, IT commerce or ICT distribution
- Several years of experience in category management or purchasing
- Experience in project management or sub-project management as well as in the implementation of process automation
- Assortment experience in the area of IT infrastructure is an advantage
- Confident knowledge of German and very good knowledge of English in words and writing
- Knowledge of French or Italian is a plus
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs and the ability to derive effective strategies and measures from them
- Analytical and strategic thinking combined with high implementation and solution orientation
- Strong communication and negotiation strength as well as a secure attitude towards internal and external stakeholders
- Customer-oriented, proactive personality with hands-on mentality, team spirit and role model
