The Position The group "Microbiology Kaiseraugst" is part of the section microbiology within the department "Quality Control for Commercial Drug Products" in Kaiseraugst. As a Laboratory Technician in pharmaceutical quality control, you ensure reliable and efficient microbiological analysis for our manufacturing customers at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations and thus ensure the safety of our products and thus the well-being of patients.

The possibility

As a Laboratory Technician, you take on the following tasks

• Analytical and preparatory activities in the QC Microbiology Sterile Test Laboratory
• Performance of the sterility test on the insulator for parenteral finished products and development patterns
• Performance of method validations
• Evaluation of the patterns by automated Celsis method
• Sample input and result acquisition in the LIMS system and paper documentation
• Routine maintenance work on laboratory equipment
• Implementation of environmental monitoring in the laboratory zone.

Who you are

In order to succeed in this exciting role, you ideally bring the following:

• Training or vocational school degree towards (micro)biology, life sciences or comparable qualification
• Experience in the desired working environment desired, further experience in the pharmaceutical environment of great advantage
• Experience with GMP (documentation) and their systems (LIMS systems, document management system (VEEVA)) is an advantage
• Careful and independent working methods
• Team-ready, flexible, resilient and proactive
