For our client, we are looking for a Junior IT Project Coordinator who supports IT projects organizationally and coordinatively, ensures cooperation between internal departments, IT teams and external partners and helps to promote project activities in a structured and efficient manner. The position requires a good understanding of IT processes, a structured and proactive way of working, and a very good knowledge of English. The Junior IT Project Coordinator assumes responsibility for the coordination of tasks, appointments, meetings and project documentation and thus contributes to a transparent, efficient and successful implementation of IT projects in an international environment.

Your tasks

• Support in the planning, coordination and implementation of IT projects
• Organization and preparation of meetings, workshops and project dates
• Creation and maintenance of project plans, task lists, status overviews and project documentation
• Track open tasks, deadlines, dependencies and project milestones
• Coordination between IT, business, external service providers and other stakeholders
• Support in the preparation of project status reports, presentations and decision-making basis
• Preparation and coordination of tests, rollouts and the introduction of new IT solutions
• Ensuring a transparent flow of information within the projects
• Early detection and escalation of delays, risks and open points
• Support for the further development of project management and IT processes
• Participation in international projects and cooperation with teams and stakeholders at different locations
• If necessary, on-site support for project activities and rollouts

Your profile

• Completed training or studies in computer science, business informatics, business administration or comparable qualification
• First experience in the IT environment, project management, PMO or in a coordinative function
• Basic understanding of IT systems, software, digital processes and project processes
• Very good organizational skills and a structured, reliable way of working
• Strong communication skills and pleasure in working with different stakeholders
• Initiative and the ability to independently track and advance tasks
• Very good English skills in word and writing
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 / MS Office
• Readiness for occasional business trips
• Enjoy working in an international and dynamic environment

Your personality

• You are an organized, proactive and communication-strong personality who likes to move things forward.
• You also keep track of several parallel topics, follow open points consistently and do not be afraid to ask or escalate topics if necessary.
• You do not have to be an experienced IT project manager. Much more important to us are willingness to learn, initiative, reliability and the motivation to develop in the long term in IT project management.
• You feel comfortable in an international environment, communicate safely in English and can bring together different interests and requirements.
