Job description The Coercive Measures Court (ZMG) grants particularly drastic coercive measures in the field of criminal and administrative law for the entire canton at the request of the public prosecutor’s office, the juvenile justice or the juvenile justice, the police, the court authorities of first instance, the Office for Prison and Probation Assistance or the Office for Population and Migration.

It shall make its decisions through a single judge.

Desired profile

• Lawyer's patent, licence or master's degree and sufficient practical knowledge for the performance of the office
• Sound knowledge of criminal law
• 60% position requiring high availability to ensure on-call time
• Voting rights in cantonal matters.

Foreign nationals must hold a residence permit and have been resident in the canton for at least five years.
