- On behalf of municipalities and social services, among other things, they provide responsible support for people on the way to sustainable integration into the labour market, maintain cooperation with clients and carry out acquisition and placement activities.
- They bear the overall responsibility of the case management, create an individual integration strategy together with the clients, set clear labour market goals and continuously monitor their effectiveness.
- They proactively involve insurance companies, municipalities, providers, employment and career consultancies etc. in the consultation, maintain a regular exchange and document all conversations and decisions in the AVAM system.
- They draw up the necessary agreements and provide the necessary reports.
- They consistently implement SECO’s instructions, regulations and procedures and actively participate in the prevention of abuses.
What you bring
- You bring a completed vocational training (EFZ) in the commercial-industrial, social or commercial sector and have successfully completed the further education as HR specialist or social insurance specialist with a federal professional certificate.
- They also have further training in labour integration and several years of experience in integrated case management and advice for job seekers.
- They are characterized by a high level of social and communication competence and have the ability to accompany clients empathetically and solution-oriented.
- They know the labour market and bring with them knowledge of social insurance in the AVIG and IVG.
Your working environment
At the Office for Economic Affairs and Labour, we enforce federal laws such as the Unemployment Insurance Act (AVIG), the Employment Services Act (AVG) and the Labour Law (ArG). The main tasks are to supervise industry and industry with regard to occupational safety and health protection, to advise and place job seekers and to pay unemployment allowances for beneficiaries.
