The Position At our location in Kaiseraugst, we offer a variety of exciting internship opportunities from February 2027. The Kaiseraugst production site is a cornerstone of Roche’s global production and logistics network. More than 2000 people are employed here and the site is home to Roche’s largest and most innovative packaging company in the world. Support functions support pharmaceutical production with their technical expertise and ensure regulatory requirements throughout the entire life cycle for our products. Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) assumes a wide range of tasks at the Kaiseraugst site to enable the production of sterile medicines and the packaging of chemical and biological medicines from the Roche network. We are involved in bringing new products, technologies and systems to Kaiseraugst and work closely with production, quality assurance, qualification & automation.

The possibility

As an intern in the field of process validation at the Kaiseraugst production site, you support the team in a wide range of aspects. In this internship you will get insights into the following activities:

• Validation of sterile processes in product filling and process performance qualifications (PPQs) for product launches
• Support for preparation, implementation and follow-up as well as documentation of practical validation activities at pharmaceutical plants
• Preparation, editing and review of GMP documents
• Supporting employees in quality systems, carrying out data analyses and key figures
• Process optimization and implementation of new processes and systems
• Moderation of meetings and workshops

Who you are

You are matriculated or have Completed your studies at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in the field of natural sciences / engineering / pharmacy within the last 12 months and are interested in using your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 6 months, as well as getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.

In addition, you round off your profile with the following competencies:

• high degree of initiative and rapid comprehension
• very independent and structured working method
• Experience in dealing with technical systems is an advantage
• Joy of constructive cooperation with internal contacts
• very good knowledge of German and English as well as communication skills

Additional information

• Non-EU/EFTA citizens (m/f/d) must accompany the application with a confirmation from the university that they must complete a mandatory internship as part of the training.
• Part-time employment is not possible at this position. Writing a thesis is possible.
