The Position At our location in Kaiseraugst, we offer a variety of exciting internship opportunities from February 2027. The entity shall

In your role, you are part of the QC department “Product Analytical Testing” in Kaiseraugst/Basel. The Product Analytical Testing department consists of a total of six laboratory units, which are divided method-based and deal with the planning and implementation of physico-chemical analyses, method validations and method transfers in the respective analytical area. You will support the department’s management team and take on exciting tasks within the Large Molecule HPLC unit. As an intern: in quality control, you work at the interface between natural and economic tasks and have the opportunity to help shape your work profile yourself. Two things are important to us: You get the opportunity to get to know the pharmaceutical industry, see other departments such as production, logistics, etc. and form a network for your professional future. At the same time, you will be fully involved in our day-to-day business, assigned responsible tasks and your work has a direct impact on our success.

The following exciting tasks await you

• Takeover of various projects in the Quality-Unit Kaiseraugst
• Cross-functional projects (IT, Finance, QA)
• Participation in the local implementation of Roche digitalization projects on the way to digital quality control
• Cooperation in the establishment of LPS (lean production system) elements in analytics
• Implementation and follow-up of improvement proposals to increase efficiency and minimize costs as part of a continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Support for customer audits and government inspections
• Support in the planning and implementation of workshops
• Support for the evaluation and tracking of deviations, CAPAs and technical changes
• Evaluation of the department’s KPIs
• Administrative support of the QC Product Analytical Testing management team

Who you are

As a successful intern in the QC Product Analytical Testing department, you are enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences or have obtained your degree in the last 12 months. You have fun using new, digital tools and want to deepen or gain new knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry. You are also open to new ideas and question conventional thinking patterns.
