The Position

The Kaiseraugst production site is a cornerstone of Roche’s global production and logistics network. More than 2000 people are employed here and the site is home to Roche’s largest and most innovative packaging company in the world.

The entity shall

As an intern in the field of Manufacturing Support at the Kaiseraugst production site, you support the team in a wide range of aspects. In this internship, you will:

• Ensuring the highest quality standards: You actively support the optimization and implementation of our hygiene, cleaning and zone concepts and get to know the regulatory requirements in practice.
• Support & simplification: You act as central support for our quality experts in document management and strengthen the entire department in administrative matters. You will also moderate sessions, training your communication and leadership skills directly in a professional environment.
• Process Engineering & Change Management: You critically analyze existing processes, independently develop suggestions for improvement and actively accompany the introduction of modern systems and new processes within the department.
• Bridge builder for digital production (IT change management): You form the bridge between operational operations and IT. You control adjustments in the electronic documentation system and ensure that our system landscape remains as agile as our production.
• Experience quality up close (audit accompaniment): You accompany internal inspections as well as announced and unannounced Gembas. In doing so, you develop a sharper eye for process conformity and take on an advisory role in the identification of optimization potential.

Who you are

You are matriculated or have Completed your studies at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in the field of natural sciences and engineering, such as hygiene, pharmaceutical technology and pharmacy, as well as comparable courses within the last 12 months and are interested in using your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 6 months, as well as getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.

In addition, you round off your profile with the following competencies:

• You are characterized by a very independent, structured working method, a high degree of initiative and a fast comprehension.
• You can quickly find yourself in various teams and search for an environment that is characterized by close and cross-functional cooperation.
• You have very good knowledge of German and English as well as strong communication and presentation skills, which you will certainly use when moderating sessions.
• You enjoy learning continuously and enjoy getting deeper into complex quality systems and processes.
