The Position At our location in Kaiseraugst, we offer a variety of exciting internship opportunities from February 2027. The Kaiseraugst production site is a cornerstone of Roche’s global production and logistics network. More than 2000 people are employed here and the site is home to Roche’s largest and most innovative packaging company in the world.

The entity shall

As an intern in the field of Manufacturing Unit Sterile Filling Asset Freeze Drying (GEF) at the Kaiseraugst production site, you will support the team in a wide range of areas. In this internship, you will:

• get to know the processes at the sterile filling line GEF - from solution production to sterile filling to freeze-drying of medicines
• Gain insights into GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)-compliant production
• actively participate in team-internal compliance activities such as event management (deviation management), CAPA (corrective actions and preventive actions) and change management
• plan and implement small projects in the area of asset excellence and process optimization
• Create, revise and manage quality-relevant documents such as SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure)
• in an interdisciplinary environment working closely with internal interfaces (e.g. production, technology and QA) and communicating

Who you are

You are enrolled or have completed your studies at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in the field of science (e.g. pharmacy, biotechnology, chemistry, molecular biology) within the last 12 months and are interested in using your knowledge in a modern work environment as part of an internship of at least 6 months, as well as getting to know the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, you round off your profile with the following competencies:

• Structured, independent work and organisational talent
• analytical thinking skills as well as fun getting to the bottom of things (e.g. in causal research)
• High level of own initiative
• Communication strength and teamwork
• Interest in compliance activities, quality assurance and continuous improvement processes in the pharmaceutical industry
• fluent knowledge of German (level: C2) as well as good knowledge of English in words and writing; other foreign languages (e.g. French) are advantageous
• very good user knowledge in Google and Microsoft applications (especially Excel, Word)

Part-time employment or the writing of a thesis is not possible at this position.
