The Position

The Kaiseraugst production site is a cornerstone of Roche’s global production and logistics network. More than 2000 people are employed here and the site is home to Roche’s largest and most innovative packaging company in the world.

The entity shall

As an intern in the field of Asset Excellence Packaging Vials at the Kaiseraugst production site, you support the team in a wide range of areas. In this internship, you will:

• Get to know the packaging processes (delivery, labelling, packaging) in cleanroom class E
• Processing and maintaining GMP documents
• assist in handling deviations and apply structured problem-solving methods
• regularly evaluate and process data on overall equipment effectiveness (e.g. downtimes, IT disruptions).
• Accompany line stops for validation, testing of new packaging materials or conversions. (e.g. provision of packaging material)
• participate in optimization projects to increase efficiency (e.g. reduced set-up times, lean processes) and, if necessary, manage own projects.
• work closely with areas such as mechanics, electrics, packaging development, quality assurance, validation and engineering.
• Question and improve processes in the GMP-compliant environment.
• Be part of a dynamic, powerful team with varied tasks.

Who you are

You are matriculated or have Completed your studies at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in the field of pharmacy, pharmaceutical engineering, industrial engineering or life science within the last 12 months and are interested in using your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 6 months, as well as getting to know the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, you round off your profile with the following competencies:

• You have a solution-oriented attitude and a strong can-do mentality to proactively tackle challenges.
• You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
• You communicate safely in German and English and bring strong analytical and organizational skills.

Part-time employment or the writing of a thesis is not possible at this position.
