Sales Engineer for Upgrades (gn)

To support our after sales team, we are looking for a passionate engineer (gn) for our growing upgrade and retrofit business.

Their tasks

• Global responsibility for the expansion and maintenance of the retrofit and upgrade portfolio, in close cooperation with product management
• Global technical sales of retrofits and upgrades, in close cooperation with the regional sales and service teams
• Independent creation of offers and execution of upgrades and retrofits, including the support of the service team performing the work
• Support for life-cycle issues, in close cooperation with engineering, product management and purchasing
• Technical customer support and field service worldwide
• Further develop and promote the quality, speed and efficiency of upgrade and retrofit processes worldwide
• Supporting the development and maintenance of our installed base
• Development and support in defining and implementing the after-sales strategy to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sustainable and profitable growth with upgrades and retrofits

Your profile

• Technical education or studies and at least 5 years of experience in technical service and/or electrical engineering, customer service and upgrade/retrofit business
• Enjoyment of technical challenges and a result-oriented working method, combined with a strong customer and service orientation
• Experience in thermal spraying or its industrial application
• Open and strong personality with a positive and supportive mindset and very good communication skills in German and English
