Role overview

  • On behalf of the Confederation and the Cantons, lead the national competence and coordination office eHealth Suisse in strategic, professional, human, financial and organizational terms
  • Establish the new organization with the core mission "Standardization and Interoperability" according to the framework agreement
  • Responsible for Switzerland-wide roadmap of mandatory standards and exchange formats in the healthcare sector in close coordination with stakeholders and cantons
  • Create the conceptual foundations to plan and coordinate the dependencies and schedules of healthcare stakeholders nationally and internationally
  • The National Release Center SNOMED CT and the terminology server
  • Lead the office of the specialist group Data Management in Healthcare and further develop the content
  • Completed studies in social sciences, medicine or health sciences (preferably doctorate, further education in management and in public health)
  • Proven knowledge of the Swiss health system in the field of standards and interoperability, as well as the distribution of competences between the Confederation and the cantons
  • Technical and technical knowledge of all three interoperability layers (technical, syntactic, semantic), in particular the HL7 FHIR standard and international ontologies/classifications in the health sector
  • Pronounced team player with leadership and high social skills for working in a complex and demanding environment
