The Position At the Kaiseraugst site, around 1,800 employees with an innovative spirit and the highest quality standards ensure the continuous care of patients worldwide. As part of Pharma Technical Operations (PT), the site is a central pillar of Roche’s sterile drug production. As an asset operation manager, you have a key role in making asset solids packaging fit for the future in the manufacturing unit MU Assembly & Packaging! In this role, you are a central figure in identifying, driving and implementing process improvements. In this way, you help to ensure the quality of our products and improve the efficiency and robustness of our production. In addition, as the deputy of the asset lead, you are responsible for making operational decisions in consultation with the packaging team.

The possibility You support the asset leads: in all respects to ensure a smooth process within the operational teams.

• Representation of the asset lead: If necessary, you take operational decisions in consultation with TL, AEL and TACL and ensure continuity in production operations.
• Operational readiness monitoring: You are part of the management team and support the smooth running of production operations, ensuring that all processes are efficient and critical materials are available.
• Coordination of production processes: Across layer boundaries and in consultation with team leaders, you coordinate the processes to ensure optimal productivity.
• Interface Management: You act as a central communication interface to material management, MSAT, engineering and global functions.
• Risk and Opportunity Assessment: You carry out regular analyses in production facilities to evaluate operational optimizations and take appropriate measures.
• Operations SPOC during shutdowns: You coordinate for the operational teams in consultation with the Team Leads Shutdown activities.
• Troubleshooting Support: You support the Asset Excellence Team and Team Leads in critical incidents.
• Readiness for Picetting Work When Needed

Who you are

• Completed scientific or technical studies or comparable vocational training in combination with many years of professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in the GMP environment, ideally in the packaging of sterile medicines.
• Experience in processing deviations, changes and CAPAs as well as in project management.
• You bring a quick comprehension and great interest in technical processes, combined with a routine handling of IT systems.
• You like to take on responsibility and show great willingness and curiosity for personal development and cross-divisional learning
• A structured and assertive way of working.
• Fluent German and very good English skills
